There needs to be more men and women mentors on the streets.  They need to be trained in crisis intervention, mediations, leadership training, mentoring, educational and development programs all designed to give youth and families the tools to become successful in everyday life. Furthermore, we are building teams violence interrupters and outreach workers that will engage to interrupt youth, adult and peer gun violence in and around the north Minneapolis hot spots.
